Bill Wilson - "an Excellent Instructor"

I began my lessons with Bill as a complete beginner and ended up passing first time! Bill started by teaching me the basic handling of the car, adding extra actions in such as indicators or gear changes when I was ready, or taking them away when necessary. This allowed me to always feel comfortable and confident when driving and not overwhelmed, as it was all at a pace suitable for me. Bill often asked if there was anything I would like him to do differently in order to improve my learning, it was clear he liked to give each student a unique experience suited to them! Nearing my test, Bill allowed me to practice in the area I would be taking my test in order to feel at ease on the roads. In order to build confidence for my test, Bill was happy to conduct mocks, these were excellent help and allowed me to feel less nervous and more confident. Bill constantly sought to improve my knowledge of road codes and etiquette and helped me prepare for my theory test and hazard perception, pointing out road signs and upcoming hazards, helping me to spot them on my own. Not only was Bill an excellent instructor, but also a caring and kind person who made my experience of driving an enjoyable, rewarding and stress free one. I would highly recommend Bill, so matter what your past driving experience, I cannot thank him enough!!

Bill Wilson is an outstanding driving instructor and I would highly recommend him to all learner drivers. Fantastic approach to teaching and overall, very professional. At first, I had very little confidence about driving but once I started my lessons wth Bill, that all changed. I was regularly given handouts about the forthcoming lessons. All driving aspects were expertly explained so that I fully understood.
I passed my test with only 3 minors - thank you Bill.

I have just completed my test on the 12/01/2016 and I'm absolutely gutted to be leaving Bill. Firstly, Bill has been a very important part of passing my test. Bill is not only a calm individual, but he also adapts to different learners and allows you to learn at your own pace. Furthermore, Bill is a very knowledgeable man who really knows his stuff. At times, I did find certain aspects of driving a little challenging but Bill has now taught me how to conquer my problems and has built up my confidence behind the wheel.
I urge anyone who wants to learn to drive to most definitely consider Bill as he offers a very competitive price and can fully adapt to your working times.
Bill I honestly can't thank you enough for everything you have taught me. Driving by myself is just a start, but I do have a lot more confidence in myself.

After a year and many lessons with her first Instructor she was getting nowhere fast yet after only a few lessons with you she was confident and found driving much easier.

I would just like to thank Bill Wilson for helping me cruise through my driving test on the 27th August. It's been a pleasure having Bill as a instructor, with his many years of experience and professionalism I can understand why I was recommended to use Bill and I would quite happily recommend Bill to anyone who is looking to start driving lessons. Bill put me at ease and helped me feel confident in the car and on the road. I'm over the moon I passed my driving test at the first attempt. Thanks Bill Wilson, Top bloke.
BILL WILSON - "GREAT DRIVING INSTRUCTOR"

I have been learning to drive for a few months now, I had never driven a car before and I found Bill a very good driving instructor, he teaches me what I need to know at the speed I am comfortable with but also pushes me to go that little bit further. I am a single parent who works full time and because of this I don't have much time to myself to do my driving lessons, so I take my lessons on my dinner hours at work which Bill was very happy to do and works well.
I would recommend Bill as a great driving instructor especially someone who has not driven a car before like me.
My son is only 7 but he wants Bill to teach him how to drive when he's older.

Bill Wilson - "Friendly and Charismatic"

Bill Wilson is a friendly and charismatic driving instructor who has seemingly endless patience. His teaching style is relaxed and he will work with you non-stop until you are satisfied and confident on the roads. Bill Wilson won't just get you passed your Test, he will teach you how to drive, and how to drive well.
I've been with other driving schools in the past, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Bill Wilson was my second driving instructor and after a bad experience 1st time round I came to him terrified!! Bill couldn't be more patient and made me feel at ease straight away, although I found driving really difficult and at times frustrating Bill managed to get me to enjoy my lessons...which I didn't think possible! Very knowledgeable and gives pointers without being overly critical or leaving you disheartened...I passed 1st time with Bill and will be recommending him to everyone in future!

Bill Wilson came highly recommended by a member of my family, I found him to be a first class instructor. Driving did not come naturally to me at the outset, however due to Bills guidance and expertise I improved greatly, he was always punctual and well prepared for lessons and perhaps most important of all in a driving instructor, he was patient. I was regularly supplied with print outs regarding forthcoming lessons and in subjects such as roundabouts, junctions and manoeuvres. Bill always explained things clearly and concisely. He was especially good in pinpointing and targeting my weaknesses, ensuring they were eradicated. I passed my test with only 2 minors - Bill has to take a lot of the credit for that I would have no hesitation in recommending Bill to anyone looking for a
driving instructor, he is second to none.

I passed first time with only two minors with Bill Wilson as my instructor. He is very friendly and put my nerves at ease in the first lesson. His instruction was clear and lessons were very well structured to focus on my areas of weakness. He has a good knowledge of the roads, was very punctual and managed to fit lessons in around my working times. When learning new things I was given print outs the lesson before to read over in preparation for the next lesson. This meant more time could be spent practicing driving rather than pulled over by the side of the road, a time and money wasting technique adopted by my previous instructor. I was very impressed with the quality of his tuition and recommended him to a friend who was equally impressed.

Bill is a fantastic instructor - very patient and friendly, making you feel at ease straightaway. He is my second instructor and I came to him with quite low confidence in terms of my driving ability and he has really helped me to get rid of my nerves on the road. He recognises your areas of weakness and uses repetition to develop them, which has been very effective. He explains things very clearly and knows the area incredibly well. I have also been very impressed by Bill's planning - he always considers his lessons in advance and notes down routes and particular areas of driving to focus on which means my progress has been faster. I would thoroughly recommend Bill!

Bill Wilson is a fantastic instructor. I'm always amazed at how much I've learnt by the end of each lesson. Bill is very calm and reassuring and teaches at a pace you are most comfortable with, as soon as your confident with a particular manoeuvre he introduces another. Before you know it you're driving without having to be told what to do! The lessons are well structured and loads of fun.
I dreaded learning how to drive, but now I wish I'd started sooner!!!

Grade 6 instructor Bill Wilson takes my lessons and he has been first class with my development.I feel progress after every lesson I take and, after moving from Cheshire to the North-east, he has helped my development from one instructor to another with the different car etc.I would thoroughly recommend Bill to anyone. Bill allows you to concentrate and his repetitive training is perfect for a
beginner driver.He knows the area well and takes you on routes which will help you develop the weaker parts of your driving.

I have been learning to drive for 6 weeks, I feel with the help of my driving instructor "Bill Wilson", my skills are developing fast. You hear horror stories about companies etc, trust me 100% Bill Wilson is an outstanding coach! I like the fact if I make a mistake, Bill is calm and collective giving me the correct way of doing things, also makes you feel more confident. If you're in the Tyne and Wear area and looking for a driving instructor- Bill Wilson is your man!
